Super welcoming gym. Walked In with my stuff and was allowed to train. Super great structure of the class as well. Learned a ton from the coaches here. People were super friendly and great training partners. Will definitely be back!

Visited this gym while in town. They were very welcoming. The team is really nice. I watched some of there in house tournament which was pretty cool.

I had a great time escaping conference life and doing a drop-in at NOLA BJJ. Their main facility off Magazine St is located in an old fire station with awesome brick walls and lots of character. Professors Matthias, Caroline, and Marshall ran exceptional classes and extremely welcoming during my visit. Since I typically pack light for my work travel, they even let me borrow a gi for practice. Our gyms share a similar vibe and I very much look forward to seeing them again when I’m back in town.

Trained here tonight while I was in town for a conference. Attended Marshall's fundamental and adv class and it was a great two classes back to back. Everyone was friendly and people take care of their partners while drilling and rolling. Definitely would recommend dropping in!

Great gym with knowledgeable coaches and relaxed, friendly vibe. Was visiting NOLA and dropped in twice for the lunch class, had an awesome time. Two different coaches both showed really solid techniques that I've incorporated into my game. Sparring partners were solid and friendly, no injuries, no ego, just good jiu jitsu. Will be coming back next time I visit.

I went as part of my Chaarg group at Tulane, and they were super welcoming and super supportive in helping us learn the basics! The gym itself is also super cool and it’s easy to see the pride the staff and members have for the gym! Totally recommend the gym and they have opened up an interest to me that I didn’t know I had!

Went to Nola BJJ with a group of girls to try something new and was warmly welcomed to participate in their class. We were able to learn from many of their members in a very supportive environment. We very much enjoyed getting to try BJJ and all had an amazing time! Thanks again!

Incredibly fun, warm, and welcoming! I came with a large group of girls and we were immediately included and welcomed by everyone. Everyone was eager to teach us how to do new things and encouraged us. It was an amazing experience that I cannot recommend enough!!

I was in New Orleans for the first time for a business conference and decided to stay through the weekend. I'm a 6mo white belt and came with gi/no-gi clothes just in case. I found NOLA BJJ searching the Internet and super glad I found them. I called the number listed and coordinated with the owner/professor a super early Friday morning private (with Jon and gi) and dropped in on a Sunday morning no gi fundamentals class which were both really great. This school is very accommodating, the community is super friendly/hospitable, and the facility (Uptown; Magazine St.) was clean. If I am in the area again, I will be back.

While in town for vacation dropped by the Friday No Gi class at noon taught by Steven. The gym had that friendly NOLA vibe, everyone was super nice, had no problem getting rolls in with a variety of people and had some good conversations. Learned a really nice detail during the instruction on a knee bar entry that I commonly use. Will look forward to visiting again.
